Jellow participated in the 12th session of the Conference of State Parties to the Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (COSP-CRPD) at the UN headquarters in New York City from 11th to 13th of June 2019. It was great to listen to António Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations at the majestic General Assembly Hall speaking on behalf of the people with disabilities.
There were round-table discussions dedicated to the following topics:
Round Table 1: Technology, digitalization and ICTs for the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities
Round Table 2: Social inclusion and the right to the highest attainable standard of health
Round Table 3: Inclusion of persons with disabilities in society through participation in cultural life, recreation, leisure and sports
